If there are two things that would describe my site, they should be Blouses and Causes. Both reveals the preferences, values and aspirations of the person wearing a certain blouse or supporting a cause. Besides, nothing describes a woman better than the kind of  blouse she wears. Young ladies prefer the small, more revealing blouses that flaunt their feminine features. They are actually more comfortable to wear considering  the warm climate in the country even at the onset of the rainy days. The fashion conscious will choose those that are in vogue even if it is short lived. The budget savvy  opts for the classic, undying styles that can be flexibly worn casually at work or layered with a blazer for the boardroom or embellished by flattering set of accessories for a party. The NGO set apart from the ubiquitous advocacy and campaign T-shirts are fond of Asian or ethnic inspired blouses that manifests their cultural sensitivity and oneness with the aspirations of the common people.   Perhaps some of us, women over 40 are holding on to a favorite blouse that suits us well when we were younger and slimmer, hoping that our After Six, South Beach , low-fat-low carbs diet will ultimately pay off.

I like blouses of different types just as I am interested in the many aspects of this journey called life. This blog will be my venue for thinking aloud and sharing my thoughts, knowledge and experiences as a mother who only wants the best for her children; as a citizen who does her share for a just and peaceful world; as a woman who works with other women and men for a gender responsive society.
